Special Course in Human Evaluation Witchita Kansas, August, 1951 Ron delivered this series of nine lectures to local businessmen detailing the subject of human evaluation. They describe how people can be expected to react under specific circumstances, how to detect those who can be trusted and those who can't and the methods by which one can ensure success in his choices. Just subsequent to these lectures in August, the first hardcover edition of Science of Survival was published and copies of the limited manuscript were presented at the First Annual Conference of DIANETICS Auditors in Wichita, Kansas, in June, 1951. The Special Course in Human Evaluation was given at the HUBBARD DIANETICS Foundation in Wichita, Kansas from the 13th to the 17th of August, 1951. Representatives from several businesses in the Wichita area attended each evening. When this lecture series was given, Ron had also just published Self Analysis and his story of the publishing of this book is contained in the Course lectures. The true value of human evaluation is that you can predict a person's honesty, ethics level, persistence and responsibility level. Ron reads a famous letter from his uncle Elbert Hubbard who was a well-known American writer. Any time you meet a human being and become associated with him socially, it would be of some benefit to know, by looking at him and talking to him for a couple of minutes, what this individual had in store for you in his friendship with you. -LRH August 13, 1951 The Purpose of Human Evaluation 5108c13 HEV-01 August 13, 1951 The Dynamics of Existence 5108c13 HEV-02 August 14, 1951 Conquest of the Physical Universe 5108c14 HEV-03 August 14, 1951 Personality 5108c14 HEV-04 August 15, 1951 Self Analysis 5108c15 HEV-05 August 15, 1951 The Tone Scale 5108c15 HEV-06 August 16, 1951 Motion and Emotion 5108c16 HEV-07 August 16, 1951 Motion and Emotion Continued 5108c16 HEV-08 August 17, 1951 Motion and the Tone Scale 5108c17 HEV-09 August 17, 1951 The ARC Triangle 5108c17 HEV-10 Dynamics of Existence In this lecture, Ron describes how the dynamics support each other and covers the importance of postulates, goals and ideals in relation to survival on the dynamics. The Conquest of the Physical Universe Ron talks about how the ability to conquer the physical universe is what determines a person's tone. Personality Then there are some people with a higher persistence level those with higher theta endowment who are able to persist and get things done in their environment, despite aberrations. Beings have different theta endowments and Ron gives examples of how this is so. Self Analysis People involved in the compilation and publication of the book went Out of PT just working on the cycle the processes are that powerful. Ron also gives a complete dissemination patter which can be used for disseminating with the Tone Scale. The Tone Scale Ron uses many many examples of a person who is starting at the top of the Tone Scale and what life situations bring him down scale. He describes various points on the Tone Scale in detail and their manifestations, especially the handling of truth. Motion and Emotion In this lecture Ron describes what motion is in the physical universe and what the physical universe is made up of. His description includes the fascinating details of what energy actually is. Motion and the Tone Scale Ron explains that the decline of an individual on the Tone Scale is in direct proportion to his inability to move his body in the environment. The ARC Triangle Ron gives a number of tests that an employer can make to check a person's tone level, using the principles of ARC and the Tone Scale.
